From the outset, I've used this site to correct, update or expand on things of mine that have been published and now I'm doing the same with my pieces for Chandos Publications' Axis Wings compendia. Some of the extra material (e.g. long lists of sources) was intended from the outset to go online and where that applies there'll be a note in the printed article to that effect. |

Panthers Taking Pictures: Me 262 Reconnaissance Operations, 1944–45 appeas in Axis Wings Volume 2 (Chandos Publications, October 2024) ISBN 9781999316570. Click here for things I've found out since then. Also, the article mentioned that III./EJG 2 played a part in training Me 262 reconnaissance pilots, and a subsequent thread on the 12 o'clock high forum led me to look into what happened to this Gruppe which seemingly vanished without being formally disbanded. The results are here. |
